Thus, se Mesara, Reiss's last word to us was that our contract

Only on the 29th ulto., that is three days before the receipt
in New York of this cable, I wrote my partner, kr. I.J. Carroll:
Te shall soon see whether RetBo should London persist and prevail surrender the business quietly, giving the usual assis- tance to those other parties in Hongkong and Canton who will be their Juocessors, so that no loss and inconvenience is osumed to the Texas Company and us.
